Moving Ahead

We signed off on the new doors even though they were shipped the wrong size. The Marvin engineer, our engineer, the architects at Imbue Designs, Benchmark Modern and us worked out the best solution to get the doors working properly. Slight modifications in our slip joint and a new stainless steel cap on the bottom track solved Marvin's mistake of oversizing the door. Marvin has been a great company to work with and we really wanted to make this work. They took full blame for the mistake and were willing to do anything we ultimately decided. We are moving forward with the installation next Monday. I'll keep everyone up to speed as it happens.

On a better note we have moved on from our Belmont Ave house and are caretaking a friend's house for the summer until the Pasture Project is done. Our 9th and 9th neighborhood will be missed but the pasture is calling....
